Flights
There are at least 4 airports that you could fly
into to get to Patzcuaro, but we highly
recommend flying into Morelia, where we can pick
you up and drive you the 1.5 hours to the hotel.

Continental Airlines offers flights via Houston
such as the one below for $512 roundtrip:

If it's cheaper (or easier) for you
to fly  to the beach town of
Ixtapa/Zihuantanejo (ZIH), it's
about a 4 hour drive from the
airport to the hotel, and rental
cars can be as little as
$150/week.  The buses leave
infrequently, and take over 7
hours, but if you fly in or out of
the beach, you can always spend
some extra days there, as well.

You can also fly into
Guadalajara, which is about a
3.5 hour drive, but rental cars
are often more expensive.
