Like many small towns, the best
food around is at the outdoor cafes -
fried white fish, breaded trout, hot
tortillas off the comal.  You can find
these and traditional Michoacan
sweets along the main dock.

We also recommend:

  • Zirah Bar - at the main dock

  • La Troje de Ala - a quick drive
    or boat ride from Zirahuen

Or you might just want to buy a
roasted chicken, some tortillas,
avocado, and a few beers in town
and have a picnic by the Lake.
